I was impressed by the cleanliness of the office and the modern equipment. The X-ray took only a few minutes, and shortly after, Dr. Gian Marco had already identified the problem. Despite my fears, the doctor reassured me. In just 10 minutes, he had removed my wisdom tooth without me even noticing, delicately and quickly. It was the best dental experience of my life. A welcoming and reassuring dental practice, where I visited for a painful condition of as yet unidentified origin. Dr. Marco Squicciarini began the investigation with the utmost diligence and professionalism, effectively making use of diagnostic imaging (orthopantomography and CT, thanks to the office's efficient, next-generation equipment), meticulously examining the digital images from various angles and analyzing the related numerical data. Finally, he outlined the guidelines to follow to acquire the additional data necessary to fully understand the problem and develop the most appropriate solutions. Simply Amazing! I had just arrived in Rome for a three-week trip from Australia and had a nasty toothache. Luckily, I found Dr Marco online and rang up. His lovely wife answered and was so helpful. Said to come in immediately - I've never had that happen at a dentist before! The surgery is in a beautiful old building but is contemporary and state-of-the-art. Marco saw me, asked lots of questions and did a digital x-ray imaging test - brilliant technology. After treating me, fixing the issue and writing a script, we discussed our remaining trip ... and they even gave my wife & I some restaurant ideas for our journey. The only down-side with this dentist is they won't be back in Australia to look after me when I get home.... I was in Rome on a holiday and the night before I left, the provisional screw for my implant came out. I searched for a dentist near where I would be staying in Rome and found Dr. Squicciarni. I emailed him and he answered within a few hours ON A SATURDAY! he told me to write to him on Monday morning at 10AM and that they would get me sorted out. I did as he suggested and he took care of my problem very quickly and even refused to take any payment. People like him are rare in this modern world. Having now completely my travels and returning to Australia I can finally write about my incredible experience with Doctor Marco and his team. Seriously where do I start!? I was experiencing extreme soreness from my wisdom teeth coming through and the wound actually being open preventing me from eating on that particular side and it was honestly starting to ruin my travels. I was a little nervous being a young female solo traveler and I can just say I felt more than comfortable when arriving. I was able to email their team and secure an appointment as soon as possible. I was greeted by his amazing wife, introduced to an extremely well maintained, hygienic and beautiful space. Within no time, the nurse took me into the dental room and prepared me for Doctor Marco. His wife was with me the entire time to translate everything into English for me. They took an in-depth x-ray/scan of my teeth and clearly explained what was happening with my wisdom teeth. Unfortunately I wasn't in Rome for much longer so we couldn't extract the tooth however if I was Doctor Marco I was ready to make time that day for it to happen. I received great examination, clean and care. Doctor Marco provided me with everything I needed to take care of the pain I was experiencing (providing me with scrips, mouth wash, toothpaste and tips on what to do). Seriously if you are looking for any dentist please go and see Marco and his team. I have recommended them to other fellow travelers and even friends and family home in Australia (if they ever do travel to Rome). Thank you Marco! You worked some serious magic and I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of my trip with the help of the advice you provided me and the care from your team. Ok, so I normally don't do reviews, but I simply had to take the time to share with all of you the gratitude I have for Dr. Squicciarini! He absolutely saved my vacation. I am currently on a 17day trip across Italy and within the first 2 days of being in Rome, one of my brackets on my braces broke causing the wire to protrude out into my inner cheek. The pain was constant and unbearable. I couldn't do anything to make it go away. I couldn't talk or eat and I even contemplated canceling the rest of my trip. In a shot in the dark effort, I googled “dentists in Rome” and it was the first name that popped up. Side note: coincidentally I have a close friend with the same name so I figured they might be related but they aren't! Lol. Anyway I called the office and was happy to find out they all spoke English so I was able to easily explain my situation. Thankfully they were willing to squeeze me right away! When I got there I was warmly greeted by the receptionist who is also his wife and with in no time his assistant and had me prepped and ready for the doctor to see me! After a quick assessment, Dr. Squicciarini removed the protruding wire which gave me instant relief. He literally saved my vacation!!! Anyone who has dealt with oral pain of any kind knows the feeling of not being able to do anything, so to say I was happy is an understatement. I cannot thank him enough!!! He and his staff are all true professionals. Not to mention his office was super clean and located in the heart of Rome! If you are ever in need of oral care, look no further!! Marco helped me wonderfully. I had to get a lot of cavities fixed, needed a crown, a sleeping retainer and had to get a wisdom tooth pulled. I'm terrified of dentists, and especially when they have needles! Marco and his lovely wife Daniella reassured me and made me feel relaxed and cared for me. 100% different from what I'm used to in The Netherlands! They got me over my dentist phobia. Especially the wisdom tooth was amazing, I had had 2 of them pulled in NL and they were a nightmare, extremely painful and an awful healing process, but here, under the care of Marco and his fantastic assistant they pulled it without any pain, in 2 seconds, and the healing process was a breeze! Just some mandatory ice cream for 2 days and I was all good! :D I can't explain how thankful I am for them helping me not just with my teeth, but also the warm, professional and caring atmosphere from the entire team. I had a very good experience. Being on passage in Rome I came down with a painful inflammation of the jaw. Even when it was Saturday mrs. Daniela, the assistant was extremely helpful and spoke good English. Via app she gave me a prescription and told me what to do and mondaymorning I was helped adequately by dr. As an American living in Rome, I didn't know where to go when I lost a crown. A quick google search led me to Dr Squicciarini whose office is a five minute walk from my apartment. I filled out the online request info and decided to walk in to the office the next morning. Even without an appointment, they knew I was coming and the Doctor saw me immediately! He temp replaced the lost crown and made impressions for a new one. Now, a week later I have my new permanent crown and it's perfect! He was very meticulous about the color and even offered to have the crown remade, which was completely unnecessary in my case. I began a course of hyperbaric therapy for hearing loss, but had to stop after the first session due to incredible tooth pain while the procedure was being initiated (the chamber simulates diving conditions). I contacted Dr. Squicciarini, who immediately saw me. He immediately realized it was a granuloma, and the 3D imaging confirmed it. It is hard to find a dentist who is not only skilled and knowledgeable but makes one feel comfortable as well, and in Dr. Squicciarini's dental practice I found that. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Squicciarini for three years now and cannot say enough positive things about him and his staff. It is easy to schedule an appointment with Dr. Squicciarini's office, the reminder of which is always sent on time. The office secretaries are polite and efficient, the dental technicians are thorough and courteous. Whenever we bring in our concerns or worries they are never dismissed. I chose Dr. Squicciarini after reading the excellent reviews, and I have to say I wasn't disappointed at all! :D The doctor is fantastic, very kind, very efficient, and professional, and he fixed my teeth quickly and painlessly. The entire team is also top-notch!!! The office is very clean, and the entire team is very careful to follow the COVID guidelines. I was the only patient in the office for the entire appointment. Since I moved to Rome last year I've needed many dental treatments. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is not too keen or somewhat nervous going to a dentist, but thanks to Dott. Marco and his lovely staff it has been a very positive experience for me! Their clinic is very clean and you will be welcomed by the warm smiles of everyone who works there. Dr. Marco is very professional and friendly, and he once told me "your teeth are my teeth" which made me feel that I am truly in good hands. When I was getting my first implant done I was so scared but everyone at the clinic gave me such warm support and so I was able to relax, and the implant was done smoothly and perfectly before I knew it. Dr. Squicciarini and his staff have been exceptional. They are very efficient, welcoming, and always able to speak English with me as my Italian is not strong. I travel often for work, and Dr. Squicciarini's office is always flexible with making and moving appointments as needed. They were able to squeeze me in the week before my wedding for a whitening service that was painless and had amazing results! I've always had problems with ENT visits (due to the use of tongue depressors) or dentist instruments, due to a marked oropharyngeal reflex (gag reflex). I still have problems with ENT, but I've solved my dental problems (finally) at Dr. Marco Squicciarini's office. I won't dwell on the competence, professionalism, hygiene, and courtesy of the entire office staff, but on the "conscious sedation" machine. Trust and rely on it.
