This is a very complex moment in history and to stop the spreading of the covid-19 virus and avoid interacting with others people, dentists have revolutionized their working practice and the way patients are received in the office. From now on everything will be different since you can also book an appointment at the dentist . You should come alone or, if you are a minor or a person with disabilities, you may be accompanied by another person.
Let’s see what happens in our office:
- When placing a call to book your appointment, you go through a telephone interview, known as “telephone triage , designed to verify the health state of a patient. If negative, you may go to the next step.
- Individual appointments are spaced at 70 minutes intervals with a view to prevent any interaction with other people in the waiting room but also to sanitizeevery room in between visits.
- Every patient must enter the office wearing a surgical mask, that can be taken off only during dental procedures.
A dental office that only receives one patient at a time can ensure social distancing, safety and an environment which is sanitized and aerated after each visit. Not having people in the waiting room is part of our protocol, which we believe can make our patients feel more relaxed since they understand that being treated with the utmost care and attention for safety can make a difference.
